Be Both Symbology
As #beboth was birthed in my thoughts this morning – April 5 2020. This is the image I visualised.
Now I’m no graphic artist which is why I turned to crayons. It is a medium that would allow me to quickly create the image I visualised.
Yin & Yang.
This is the ancient, well known symbol that represents our light and dark, positive and negative, masculine and feminine sides. This is the symbol that represents our internal struggle to balance these opposing forces. This is the perfect symbol to represent #beboth

The colours.
Red and Blue — conservative and liberal. This are obvious colours as we are in an election year and our bi-partisan system in politics is as divisive as ever. We need red and blue to realise you are two sides to the same coin. We can each have values and ideals that are both red and blue. Democratic and Republican values are both needed. We need to respect each perspective and try to find the best of both to guide us into this next century.
Here’s some other symbology and imagery to my colour selections. Even within one colour there are many opposite interpretations.
Blue. Water, higher self. Heart.
Green. The green on the blue side represents the Physical. The planet. Nature, renewal. The environment. It’s only fitting it falls on the Blue Liberal side. Yet green also represents money, greed and jealously.
Red. Grounded, family. Health.
Purple. The purple on the red side represents the Spiritual. The sacred, higher self, and fulfilment. Its fitting it falls on the Red Conservative side. Yet purple also represents our logical mind and higher thoughts and royalty.
